App wont stay logged in - even using chrome as suggested by other raters. Same result using safari or chrome, you get stuck in the sign in / not signed in / sign in again loop. End result cant read your magazines. Also if you are in airplane mode to read your offline magazines say in an airplane, you need an Internet connection to sign in to read your magazines. No internet connection no magazines. So basically the app is useless to read your magazines offline.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO LOG IN ONLY TO GET A DARK SCREEN!!!!! I HOPE SOMEONE COMES OUT WITH A BETTER APP THAN THIS !!! WHAT A JOKE! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS ONE !!!!!

The app worked once. The library will not refresh, it is totally empty. I emailed customer support about my problem, they didnt respond. I tried the other version that allows the purchase magazines it works fine.

The app works great - magazines load quickly and look fantastic on Retina screen. Love the ability to print out specific pages. To those who have issues with creating accounts - you can try to create account on PC/Mac and then log in to it on iPad.

Yep....its crap. So much potential, such a shame. My experience is much like the other reviewers have had. At first it works and then it doesnt.

Have used this app a lot and has always worked fine until now. Still able to login on desktop and checkout magazines. When I open this app it says I need to login, then opens a safari window, inputs my id and password and then hangs. Im going to update iOS to 9.2 to see if that helps. Frustrating!

Not sure what is required to make it work but on my iPad (iOS 9.2) it is hard locked up. I can see the library of "my" magazines, downloaded for offline reading but no ability to access them.

The new Zinio app should not have been approved by Apple for customer use. It is terrible. It hangs up all of the time on my iPhone 6+. The error messages say they are reloading and nothing but a black screen shows. It locks up and you have to start all over again. Its easier to walk to the corner and buy a magazine than use this app.

Love digital magazines. Cant remember the last time I bought a physical magazine. Kudos to the magazine world moving in this direction and kudos to libraries across the country providing this service. Support your local library!

This thing doesnt work on my iphone 6s. Its so touchy and jumphy that its not usable. Nice idea, needs a LOT of work.

You have to add magazines through a browser. The app is only for offline reading. Dumb.

Had no problem logging in or using this app. You just need to register at your library BEFORE logging into the app.

Log into your library’s website. Go to e-magazine section (Zinio for Libraries) and create an account. The link was at the top of the web page for me. Find the magazines you want to read. Click on the checkout link for the magazine you want to read. Download the app for your device. Login using email and password you entered when creating account. When the app opens you will only see the magazines you have already checked out. If you search for a magazine you have not checked out you will not be able to check it out with the app. If you do not erase the search term your checked out magazines will appear to have disappeared.

It stopped working. Magazines that were downloaded now do not open. Tried signing out and back, same issue persist. Sadly libraries should demand better quality or switch to competition. Enough is enough!

I was able to make the app work by going to my local library and having the reference desk person set up my app and show me how to get library magazines. A key thing to know is Zinio For Libraries is read only. I have to first go to my librarys website to check out the magazine. Then I close their website. I wait about 5 minutes for the magazine to transfer to my Zinio For Libraries app. Then I open my Zinio For Libraries app and the magazine is there. If there are too many windows open at once, it wont transfer my magazine. I have a iPad mini4.

I click on Checkout Magazines and nothing happens. I am signed in to my library on an IPad Air 2. It would be a nice option if it worked.

Granted the app is free and checkouts are free from the library but with the latest update I cannot open magazines that have been downloaded in the past (this month) even though they show as downloaded. There is also a magazine that shows it needs to be downloaded but I can read it. This app has always had bugs and glitches (such as not being able to read downloaded magazines after going offline) but this current update did more harm than good.

I gave it four stars only because I would like turning the page to have a more natural feel and the viewing should be to fit the page.

Please fix this app. You can only download once, and then the app no longer downloads new content.

Ive been trying to download new periodicals from my library but it always says server not found. So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now when I try and login all I get is a blank page. Nice idea for a library service but it doesnt work.
