Zinio for Libraries App Reviews

At the moment, magazines must be added from a browser and then you have to return to the app. Please add a feature so that you can browse and add magazines directly from the app.

Cannot log in. Stuck at the password entry screen.

Usually this app is pretty good, but now I cant open any magazines that I havent just downloaded.

The app crashes. Also I cannot open already downloaded magazines.

Cant get get past login screen--and I even had the library tech guy over my shoulder, coaching me! Deleted app.

I am using zino for libraries on my 1st gen iPad running iOS 5.1.1. It was running ok with the occasional crash, expected on the old iPad but still usable. Recently it stoped working. What happened?? I hope the developer fix it so that it can still run on 5.1.1. I use the old iPad for only reading ebooks, zino, and emails, and listen to tunein.

I downloaded the app and launched it right away. I used the password that works when I visit via the web browser. After failing twice to accept my password, I deleted the app. I may try again if a new version comes out but, at this point, I am not impressed.

Horrible app. Shuts down randomly, freezes when Im looking at magazines--I can look at 3 pages and it freezes when Im trying to flip the page. Wish there was another alternative.

I wish I could love this app. My library has a decent selection and I like the idea of having all of my magazines in one app. This app has never been perfect, however in the past Ive been able to get by with some patience. However, now Im lucky if the app remains open for more than 2 mins, magazines I have removed from my library continue to reappear, and the app is totally non-responsive! Given the positive reviews for the paid version of Zinio, clearly the developers are capable of delivering a functioning app. Maybe they should apply 20% of their efforts onto Zinio for Libraries.

I would like to use this app but the time wasted doing a simple download due to password routines that make no sense is just not worth it.

I used this app all the time. Updated my OS and now I cant login.

The app works fine for reading, but when its time to delete a bunch of magazines you are forced to click one at a time with a second or two delay in between. Also, once you download a magazine, the only way to recover that space is to completely delete the magazine from the app. This becomes very frustrating once youve got a few months o magazines in the app.

Wont let me log in. Just sits there after putting in password and pressing login. Guess Ill stick with my other app.

Once you figure out how to sign up for and download magazines from your local library, it works pretty well, checking out is not an issue as I get an email sent to me when a new issue is available. My biggest issue is that when rotating dron landscape to portrait and vice versa the app always moves to a random page, not the one you are on when you make the switch. Please fix!

If your previously loaded magazines wont load properly after returning to the app, the fix is easy. Hold down the magazine cover until "remove/restore" appears. Select remove. Hold down another magazine front until the option "remove/restore" appears again. Select "restore" and your deleted titles will appear. Reload and it will open fine.

Tapping login on the main screen leads to a blank page with the word close at the top. Deleted, restarted, and then reinstalled the app and it still doesnt work. Simply no way to access content on this app. Useless.

Terrible sign in interface.

Cannot log on to app. Does not accept passwords. Links on logon page dont work.

Same as the others, no login capable, shows if I use wrong password but login button wont work.

Works fine for me. First login with your Zinio for Libraries account (NOT a Zinio account), then youll need to login with your Library account number and pin.
